They’re More Than Just a Messy Problem…

I HATE yeast infections!…I absolutely hate them.

They itch…They burn…They cause messy discharges…And they never seem to go away. So, I put Ed to researching and here’s what he found.

Candida fungus, especially candida albicans, cause yeast infections.

Although candida is a yeast – it’s not like what we use to make bread or brew alcoholic beverages. Those are food yeasts. Candida is a pathogenic yeast – meaning it can cause disease.

Candida is what’s call “dimorphic”. That means it can exist in two different states.

As “yeast”, it’s a single cell plant. It has a large, round, thick spore shaped like a chicken egg.

It’s asexual, which means it doesn’t need a mate to reproduce.

In its “fungal” state, it reproduces by “budding” or growing buds. As it grows, it resembles a bunch of grapes. As it spreads it grows more branches, which then “bud” more bunches of “grapes”.

Candida eats sugars and some fats the way animals do. And it loves dark, warm, moist environments like the intestines, vagina and mouth.

It attaches itself to the intestinal wall and when in the fungal form tries to bury itself deep into your intestinal lining. It grows roots (like a weed) digging into the lining of your intestinal tract looking for food.

When it does this, it produces all kinds of infections and problems.

Yeast infections are much more than you thought…

Both Ed and I thought my yeast infections were just a nuisance problem I got and passed on to him…We’d do the treatment my gynecologist recommended and that was it.

But check out this list of problems associated with yeast infections…I see now my constant problems with constipation could be related to candida.

· oral thrush

· vaginal yeast infection / vaginal thrush

· skin problems – dry itchy skin / skin rashes / eczema

· joint pain / arthritis / extreme upper back, shoulder and neck pain or tightness

· stomach problems including abdominal bloating, chronic diarrhea, constipation, acid reflux, GERD, and heartburn

· brown colored mucus in the back of the throat

· blisters in the mouth, throat and on the tongue

· red spots on the tongue, botches on the tongue

· poor, restless sleep, brain fog

· restless leg syndrome – RLS -

· chronic sinus problems, including migraines / headaches

· dental problems, including TMJ and lots of metal/mercury fillings in teeth

· visual disturbances, including eye sensitivity to light, sharp ‘hot’ eye pains, blurred vision

· Psychological problems may include depression, irritability, anxiety, panic attacks, personality changes, and mood swings

· body chills and night sweats

· dizziness and balance problems

· gluten and/or casein intolerance

· tingling and/or burning sensations in the face or extremities, including feet, hands and ears

· recurring ear infections

· jock and rectal itching

· chronic athlete’s foot

Those drugs you’re taking don’t cure the problem… And they can cause some real problems!

Drugs have two problems:

· They tend to just suppress the symptoms without eliminating the cause…That’s why the treatment that worked last time doesn’t have the same effect now.

· They’ve got some nasty side effects. Not everyone has all the side effects, but if just one or two hit you…that’s enough:

o Headache

o Blood disorders

o Indigestion (dyspepsia)

o Severe swelling of lips, face or tongue (angioedema)

o Dizziness

o Alteration in taste

o Seizures

o Hair loss (alopecia)

o A severe allergic rash of the mouth, throat, anus, genital region, and eyes (Steven-Johnson syndrome)

o Liver disorders

o Abdominal pain

o Diarrhea

o Excess gas in the stomach and intestines (flatulence)

o Nausea and vomiting

o Rash

o Alteration in results of liver function tests

o An extreme allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)

Don’t ever try these remedies…

In our research we found some blog entries from women who tried remedies that were – to say the least – painful or counter productive.

The first thing never to try is baking powder. Although it causes no pain, it will raise the pH in your vagina and just make the yeast happier.

The second thing never to do is use Echinacea tea. It apparently will burn your most sensitive parts…So ladies..NEVER…EVER use Echinacea tea on your parts. It isn’t pretty.

Another lady tried to relieve her itching with Nivea. Apparently, it also burns like the dickens…And worse — since it’s absorbed quickly — you can’t wash it off. Ouch!

A natural solution can eliminate your infection in 12 hours…

With all the additional potential problems caused by candida we learned about …not to mention the side effects of the medicines…we took a look at the web to see if we could find a natural solution.

Check out www.natural-cure-for-yeast-infection.com They have an e-book available that gives you the ins and outs of naturally curing a yeast infection in 12 hours.

The book was written by Sarah Summer, based on the information her husband Robert, a medical researcher, found for her when she got a really severe infection…and the only solution her gynecologist had was to bombard her with drugs.

Now why doesn’t that surprise me?

The book is written in straightforward – easy to understand – language, so you don’t have to worry about getting bogged down in a bunch of medical terms only scientists really care about.

They have a 100% guarantee and two nice bonuses. So you’re protected.

I just took a look at Christian Finn’s Members-Only Area christianfinn.com and can tell you he’s taken a new approach to providing useful and reliable fitness information.

Instead of producing a fitness and nutrition e-book, he has a constantly changing web site.

He and his team review all the fitness literature and update the site several times a month.

That means you get all of the latest information, without having to spend hours in research…and the site is always up-to-date.

He answers your personal questions…

A feature I found particularly attractive and unique is that he answers e-mail questions from his subscribers…Read an article or hear a story and have a question…Drop him an e-mail and you’ll have an answer in 48 hours.

That can save you all kinds of time and money trying to decide which supplements are real…or if the latest e-book is worthwhile.

Maybe even more important…it’s like having access to a personal trainer. If you run into a training or nutrition problem, just drop him an e-mail and you’ll get high quality professional advice that will help you quickly get back on track.

The site is endorsed by Tom Venuto, author of Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle…And for me, that carries a lot of weight. I have Tom’s e-book and use it daily…so I trust his opinion…He also has a lot to lose, so he’s pretty careful who he recommends. Here’s what he had to say:

“You’ve done a phenomenal job — really professional. You’re providing an incredibly valuable service by translating all that scientific stuff into something readable and usable by the ‘average Joe’”.

— Tom Venuto, author of Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle

Christian’s guarantees his site for 30 days. Give it a try…and if you’re not completely satisfied, just drop him an e-mail and you’ll get a prompt refund.

Check him out at christianfinn.com it could just be the resource you’ve been searching for.

“The Silent Killer” and Drug Company Cash Cow

High blood pressure is often called the “silent killer” because most people don’t even know they have it…And then die without warning.

High blood pressure, or hypertension, is not something to be taken lightly. It is a serious disease, whose cause is unknown. One thing is sure though…if left untreated, over time high blood pressure can lead to serious heart disease and other vascular troubles, even death.

Take a look at these grim statistics the American Heart Association provides on High Blood Pressure:

· High blood pressure (hypertension) killed 46,765 Americans in 2001. It was listed as a primary or contributing cause of death in about 251,000 U.S. deaths in 2000.

· As many as 50 million Americans age 6 and older have high blood pressure.

· One in five Americans (and one in four adults) has high blood pressure.

· Of those people with high blood pressure, 30% don’t know they have it.

· Of all people with high blood pressure, 11% aren’t on therapy (special diet or drugs), 25% are on inadequate therapy, and 34% are on adequate therapy.

· The cause of 90%–95% of the cases of high blood pressure isn’t known. However, high blood pressure is easily detected and usually controllable.

· High blood pressure affects more than 40% of African Americans.

Here’s more of what the American Heart Association says about what a grave concern high blood pressure is: “High blood pressure is the No. 1 modifiable risk factor for stroke. It also contributes to heart attacks, heart failure, kidney failure and atherosclerosis. In some cases, it can cause blindness.”

Facts the drug companies wish you didn’t know…

Blood pressure medications come in a wide range of formulas and dosages…Each aimed at reducing the pressure exerted by the blood flowing through your vessels and arteries.

Some medications strengthen the blood vessels…Others thin the blood in an effort to reduce the strain.

Trial and error is usually the only course of action for doctor when determining which combination of drugs and treatments to use for each specific patient. The problem with this approach is the dangerous side effects that often accompany these medications.

Here’s what the American Heart Association listed as potential side effects:

· leg cramps

· fatigue

· gout

· insomnia

· a slow heartbeat

· cold hands and feet

· depression

· symptoms of asthma

· impotence

· skin rashes

· loss of taste

· a chronic dry, hacking cough

· (rare instances) kidney damage

· occasional dizziness

· heart palpitations

· swollen ankles

· constipation

· headache

· drowsiness or sluggishness

· dryness of the mouth

· fever

· anemia

· a stuffy nose

· diarrhea

· heartburn

· possible nightmares

· swelling around the eyes

· aches and pains in the joints

· fluid retention (marked weight gain)

· excessive hair growth

As we used to say in the 60’s “Wow dude, that’s heavy”.

Now bear in mind…all the prescription blood-pressure-reducing drugs don’t have all these symptoms all the time. But, they sure scare the hell out of me.

If you look at the symptoms closely, you can see they’re a logical extension of trying to reduce the pressure of the blood running through your veins and arteries…And that makes them pretty much unavoidable.

Medications are forever…and ever…and ever

The thing the drug companies love the most is you have to take their medicine forever…Or your high blood pressure will come back.

Think about being married to a witch or an ogre who makes your life a living hell…Now, there’s a thought.

There are safe and inexpensive options…

Remember the American Heart Association said high blood pressure was a modifiable risk factor…That means you change some things in your life and you can reverse the problem…Or in the best of cases prevent it.

Here is an extract from a newsletter article describing 5 ways to lower your blood pressure, written by Frank Mangano at www.thesilentkillerexposed.com .

“There are steps you can take today that will begin to lower your blood pressure almost immediately. Overtime, the result is a sustained healthy blood pressure reading that supports your blood vessels and heart for years to come.

Start with these 5 easy lifestyle changes. Always consult with your doctor before trying anything new with your health regime, and never go off any medication without the advice of your doctor. Here is a list that any doctor can approve of:

1. Drink Water. Yes, water is a way to cleanse and refresh every part of the body, even your blood vessels. Drink 8-10 glasses each day to flush out excess salt and toxins that make their way into the blood stream. You can use water to replace some drinks containing caffeine that temporarily raise blood pressure.

2. Stop Smoking. If you are a long time smoker, you know how it affects your breathing. What you may not realize is its impact on your blood pressure. If you can’t quit completely, then cut down. Even a 50% reduction in the number of cigarettes smoked each week can help.

3. Exercise. A cardiovascular workout strengthens the heart. This is important because high blood pressure over time puts added strain on the heart. Just 20 minutes, 3 times per week of a sustained increase in heart rate will aid in lowering blood pressure.

4. Eat Right. If you are eating better and exercising, a nice by-product will be weight loss. By reducing your weight by 10%, you can significantly lower blood pressure. A diet that includes the freshest fruits and vegetables will support healthy blood pressure. Reduce or eliminate salt intake, and especially beware of “hidden” sodium found abundantly in pre-packaged convenience foods.

5. Relax. Many people have a temporary raise in blood pressure when they are under stress. If you have high blood pressure because you are over weight or have a family history of hypertension, then stress raises it that much more. Try taking a walk, meditating or listening to relaxing music to take the edge off a stressful day. Make time for decompressing each and every day.”

An easy to follow guide for reducing high blood pressure naturally and safely…

Mangano www.thesilentkillerexposed.com also has an e-book available on the natural treatment and prevention of high blood pressure.

His mother had high cholesterol and didn’t want to suffer all the side effects of cholesterol medicine, so he completely researched natural treatments for her.

While doing his research, he saw the close correlation between high cholesterol and high blood pressure…So he continued to dig deeper and documented the natural ways to also treat high blood pressure.

He compiled his finding in a downloadable e-book that outlines in detail the small things you can do that will have a gigantic impact on your blood pressure. The routine can be done at your own pace, so it’s NOT a bootcamp-style plan you have to follow religiously…But the more suggestions you follow, the quicker your blood pressure will plummet.

He provides a 100% guarantee and lists a phone number where you can call.

Check out his book and follow the program for six weeks. If you’re not happy with your results – just drop him an email and he’ll give you a no-questions-asked refund.
